Stoller has worked at the Metals and Ceramics Division since 1984. He previously worked at General Electric's Advanced Reactor Systems Department in Sunnyvale, Calif. In addition to the ASTM, Stoller is a member of the American Nuclear Society and the American Society of Materials (ASM) International. He previously earned ASTM Awards of Appreciation in 1988 and 1990, was a DOE Fusion Energy fellow from 1982 to 1984 and was selected as a member of Tau Beta Pi in 1980.
Stoller earned a bachelor of science degree in nuclear engineering and a doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a master's degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
Stoller and his wife, Robin, live in Knoxville. He is a native of Woodburn, Ind.
ORNL, one of DOE's multiprogram national research and development facilities, is managed by Martin Marietta Energy Systems, a Lockheed Martin company, which also manages the Oak Ridge K-25 Site and the Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant.
