Kari Goldstein, a radioisotope production technical professional in the Isotope Science and Engineering Directorate's Isotope Processing and Manufacturing Division, joined ORNL in early 2022.

Kari is responsible for coordinating disposition of waste from processes in Building 4501; serving as operations lead for the accelerator-produced Ac-225 Tri-Lab production effort; training new staff in 4501 Operations Group; acting as HMMIS Custodian for 4501 Operations Group; helping coordinate 5S projects for 4501 Operations work spaces; and helping with continuous improvement of procedures for operations. She works in a team to process various isotopes in the 4501 Operations group, including: Ac-225, W-188, Ni-63, Tc-99, Th-228 Ra-224/Pb-212 generators and Ba-133.

Prior to joining the lab full time, Kari was a Nuclear Engineering Science Laboratory Synthesis intern at ORNL.

She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in chemistry from Tennessee Technological University.
