I started my career at ORNL in 2012 as a subcontractor waste technician in the cleanout of Building 2026 for future hot cell work. My experience in that brought me the opportunity to work on the cleanout of the hot cells at Building 3047, and I acquired my Nuclear Operation Tech Qualification Card. In 2016, I received a Mission Support Award after Building 3047 passed its readiness review for the start of processing of Ra-226 into Ac-227. At that time, I was hired as a Nuclear Operations Tech for Building 3047.In September of 2020, I was awarded the job of Operations Task Lead for 3047.
