Bio
Matthew (Matt) Honas began his career at ORNL in 2022 as a mechanical engineer in the Enrichment Sciences and Engineering Division.
Before joining ORNL Matt worked in the Aerospace industry at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas developing spacesuit technology for NASA. Matt also worked in the Oil & Gas industry designing and testing subsea connection systems in Houston and abroad in Europe.
Matt holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University. Matt is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and Tennessee.
