R&D Associate, Isotope Applications Research

Frankie White joined ORNL in 2022 as an R&D associate in the Isotope Applications Research Group, under the Radioisotopes Technology and Science Division and Isotope Science and Engineering Directorate.

Frankie's current research interests are in the solid-state chemistry of transuranics and coordination of medical isotopes. He was previously a staff scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Metal Production Group.

His doctorate in inorganic chemistry is from Florida State University where he studied the fundamental differences of the 4f and 5f elements. Frankie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Toxicology, both from the University of South Alabama.
